Expected behavior

For given variable names, Cate should use a default color map in case no color map has been specified for a given operation. This applies to various plot_<x>() operations and the 3D globe display in the GUI.

Actual behavior

Default color map is jet. Note, the GUI remembers the last color map used on a variable (in user preferences).

Steps to reproduce the problem

  1. Open dataset in Cate Desktop
  2. Select any geo-spatial variable
  3. Verify that default color map jet is applied

Specifications

Cate 0.9.0.dev7
