🎼 Music Display
The Music Display feature of MagicChatbox allows you to show your current music track in the chat window. You can share what you’re listening to, update your music status, and even show when you’re not playing any music. Below, we’ll dive into the available options and features.
In the main view, you can configure your music display settings and manage various options. This feature is available for both desktop and VR modes. Simply toggle the switch to enable your music display.
- Spotify
- Spotify Web
- YouTube
- Web Audio
- Browser Audio
- Apple Music Web
- Itunes
- Soundcloud Web
You can add a prefix symbol to make your music status stand out visually. There’s also the option to choose a custom icon for your music display to give it a more personal touch.
- Option: You can adjust the icon to your preference.
You can edit the unicodes in your time bar which is displayed. Just enter any possible UTF-8 unicode inside the given prefix and suffix fields to make live changes appear.
It’s possible to display multiple tracks and have them cycle automatically in the chat window. You can choose whether only specific, marked tracks should be cycled or if all tracks should rotate.
- You can adjust the cycle interval in seconds.
Another useful feature is automatic detection when no music is playing. This feature will show your status as “Paused” when you’ve stopped playing music. This is especially handy if you’re in VR and your inactivity needs to be detected.
- Options like displaying the “No Music” icon and showing the duration of inactivity are available.
In this section, you can manage your displayed tracks. You have the option to view your recently played tracks, your saved tracks, or sort them by play date.
- You can edit, delete, or mark tracks for automatic cycling.
