#### Image Storage at ASU

For relatively small collections with little to no IT support, the Arizona State University may be able to web-host the jpeg versions of images for display in a Symbiota portal. In this case, images are uploaded to ASU via Dropbox and transferred to ASU servers. The URLs generated by these servers are then linked to your records in a Sybmiota portal. To determine whether this is possible for your collection, contact the [Symbiota Support Hub](mailto:[email protected]).

#### Image Storage through CyVerse

Some research and digitization networks have agreements with [CyVerse](https://cyverse.org/data-store) in which CyVerse creates web-accessible URLs to images that are uploaded to their servers, and the Symbiota portal harvests these URLs and links them to occurrences in a Symbiota portal. Some example documentation is shown below. Contact CyVerse for more information about this option.
