For now most of default argument values have been chosen more or less randomly. We should put more care into the choice of these values and specifically chose values that are justified/make sense. For instance, for the intensities of the non-trophic interactions we could reproduce what has been done in Miele et al. 2019 to find the non-trophic intensities that change the community total biomass/richness by 10%. So by default, all non-trophic interactions would be put on equal footing.
