Chapel 2.0 is set to release March 21st, but we have updated our nightly testing to the simulated 2.0 environment prior to the release to ensure everything goes smoothly.
This requires accounting for 2.0 in the Makefile, adding additionally compat shims, and differenting 1.34 (nightly, never released development Chapel) from Chapel 2.0.
