@avjerafi @weidongxu-microsoft The reason for this directive was that new APIs are encoraged of adopting v2/types.json (https://github.com/Azure/azure-rest-api-specs/blob/master/specification/common-types/resource-management/v2/types.json). With this directive, I'm "swapping" ResourceGroupNameParameter with the one of v2. I want to understand why it was removed. This lack of this directive is preventing .NET SDK generation. |

The directive presumably removed the above definition (and similar others) from the API which then caused the validation process to report it as missing in the API. |

@avjerafi @weidongxu-microsoft I want to publish SDKs for the package-2021-04, so I had moved the directive that was deleted only for this package. |
