This guide will help you download and install a custom Minecraft world and texture pack from this repository.
Before you begin, ensure you have the following:
- Minecraft 1.20.1
- Visit the repository page.
- Click the green "Code" button and select "Download ZIP".
- Extract the ZIP file to a location of your choice.
- Open the extracted folder.
- Locate the world folder (Oneshot World)
- Copy the world folder.
- Navigate to your Minecraft saves directory:
- On Windows:
C:\Users\<Your Username>\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\saves
- On macOS:
~/Library/Application Support/minecraft/saves
- On Linux:
~/.minecraft/saves
- On Windows:
- Paste the copied world folder into the
saves
directory. - Launch Minecraft and select the new world in the Singleplayer menu.
- Open the extracted folder.
- Locate the texture pack file (it should be a
.zip
file). - Copy the texture pack file.
- Navigate to your Minecraft resource packs directory:
- On Windows:
C:\Users\<Your Username>\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\resourcepacks
- On macOS:
~/Library/Application Support/minecraft/resourcepacks
- On Linux:
~/.minecraft/resourcepacks
- On Windows:
- Paste the copied texture pack file into the
resourcepacks
directory. - Launch Minecraft and go to Options > Resource Packs.
- Select the new texture pack and click "Done".
If you encounter any issues during the installation process, try the following steps:
- Ensure Minecraft is updated to the 1.20.1 version.
- Verify that you have correctly followed all steps in this guide.
- Check that the world and texture pack files are not corrupted.
