Gutenberg: wpcom wp-admin && Jetpack wp-admin: blocks are not being translated #29244
Comments
Could you let me know where you saw that error? Was this on a WordPress.com site or a Jetpack site? Which editor were you using (Gutenlypso, Gutenberg in WordPress.com wp-admin, Jetpack wp-admin with the Gutenberg plugin, Jetpack wp-admin with WP 5.0)? |
I initially found it on a WordPress.com site with a Premium plan. I was able to replicate it on a WordPress.com site with a Business plan (and plugins installed). I was using the Calypsofied Gutenberg: With WordPress 5.0 |
Thank you, that helps. I'll move this issue to the Calypso repo, where the blocks are being built. |
Closing, since the code lives in Jetpack this will happen a different way: Automattic/jetpack#11817 |
I have another instance of this here on zen-2026116 where user's site settings are in Portuguese and the error (required field not filled out, malformed email, etc) appear in English in a form block. Should I reopen this issue or report it here Automattic/jetpack#11817 Or something else? |
Steps to reproduce the issue
What I expected
Expected to be able to see the same language as in the rest of my site in the form block
What happened instead
The form block is displayed in English while the rest of the editor is displayed in the non-English language
