Data Quality Service
In this page we will provide you with detailed steps to install, configure and deploy this service.
The Data Quality Service provided by the Atlas of Living Australia (ALA) can be deployed as an additional and optional service. To ensure proper installation and compatibility, follow these steps:

Install compatible versions and profiles based on the backend you are using. The
la-toolkit
provides guidance on how to install compatible versions. For example, if you are still usingbiocache-store
, you will need to installdata-quality < 1.3.0
, instead of a recentdata-quality
service. -
Deploy the service with
ansible
. -
Enable the service using the
la-toolkit
. -
or by editing your inventories (adding
data_quality_enabled = true
to your inventories). -
Download the sample profiles and adapt them to your needs. For instance, you can translate or replace
LA
with your portal name: -
Import your adapted profiles in your deployed data quality service admin interface:
- Depending on the backend you are using, enable the legacy profiles or the pipelines profiles.
