This is an update for u-blox NORA-W3 board support. Background is that for the GPIO assignment for open CPU variant the evaluation kit was updated to better match the default functions of Arduino standard. This board also has a serial converter chip that is limited to max 1Mbit. This required us to add an additional menu to select the update speed. The default update speed is set to 1.5Mbit for all platforms with the exception of NORA-W30 board which uses 921'600 Baud.

So changes are:

  • update of Pin assignment for the u-blox NORA-W30 evaluation kit
  • addition of Update Speed menu for all platforms with appropriate defaults
  • use of update.speed parameter instead of default in upload commands of the platform

revise the pull request by bringing targets for RTL8720DF MCU in line

- fix a comment in the RTL8720DF variant of
- the NORA-W30 now has the identical linker and variants.cpp files
- fixed some defines in the boards.txt in RTL8720DF and NORA-W30 targets
- avoid using Dx defines and use EVK_Dx instead
- change the Dx to EVK_Dx defines
- added additional comments to the pin names indicating NORA pads and its function
- somehow this file got lost in previous commit when i changed the variant.cpp of you other RTL8720DF target
speed may be limited by the serial converter of the board.
