The Innovation Hackathon is an opportunity to develop tech-based solutions that drive social impact, with the aim of tackling some of the challenges faced by social entrepreneurs in Turkey in the current pandemic.

Innovation Hackathon is holding a virtual hackathon and everyone is invited to participate! You can work on one of the 6 challenges posted by the collaborators of Impact Hub Istanbul for your hackathon project.
Evaluation Period: 28.09.2020 - 05.10.2020 Announcement of winners: 02.10.2020 - 05.10.2020
Demo Day for Implemented Solutions: 05.11.2020 (will be announced from Impact Hub social media channels)
Submit your Hackathon project following these steps:
Create a new file in the hackathon-submissions folder. Please use .md as the extension of the file.
Name the file {your-github-username}-{your-project-name}.md: for example, impacthubist-myproject.md.
In the file, include a link to a repository containing your project, together with a short paragraph to describe of your work and explain how it would be answering the challenge question. Submit your changes as a pull request. If other members worked with you on the project, please make sure to include their names in your pull request description.
The "README" file in your project repository should include the following: i) The challenge question you have chosen ii) A description of your project/solution (1-2 paragraph description that includes its features, how it can be implemented to the existing business model etc.) iii) How to install/run/setup your project/solution. At the end of the Hackathon, judges will analyze your submissions, check their functioning as well as the impact of the solution for the social enterprise itself.

1 - Participants of the Hackathon are advised to join all live sessions and strongly advised to follow our social media posts.
2 - The hackathon kick-off call takes place on Friday 25 September at 18:00. We'll close the submissions on Sunday 27 September at 23:59. (All times posted here are in Turkey local time, GMT+3)
