SettoWally app; Dagger Hilt,ROOM,DataStore, Coroutines, Lifecycle, LiveData, ViewModel, Retrofit, Coil based on MVVM Architecture.
Model - View - ViewModel (MVVM) is the industry recognized software architecture pattern that overcomes all drawbacks of MVP and MVC design patterns. MVVM suggests separating the data presentation logic(Views or UI) from the core business logic part of the application
- Kotlin -> The Kotlin Programming Language.
- Retrofit -> A type-safe HTTP client for Android and the JVM.
- OkHttp -> Square’s meticulous HTTP client for the JVM, Android, and GraalVM.
- Coroutines -> Library support for Kotlin coroutines
- ROOM -> Room is a powerful and widely used database library in Android that provides an abstraction layer over SQLite, making it easier for developers to work with databases by defining data models as annotated Java or Kotlin objects and generating database code. It simplifies tasks like database creation, querying, and version management while promoting efficient and safe data access within Android apps.
- Lifecycle -> Perform actions in response to a change in the lifecycle status of another component, such as activities and fragments.
- Dagger Hilt -> Hilt provides a standard way to incorporate Dagger dependency injection into an Android application.
- LiveData -> LiveData is an observable data holder class.
- ViewModel -> ViewModel class is designed to store and manage UI-related data in a lifecycle conscious way.
- Glide -> Glide is a fast and efficient open source media management and image loading framework for Android that wraps media decoding, memory and disk caching, and resource pooling into a simple and easy to use interface.
