Sanctions list

This repo consists of a simple smart contract with a list of sanctioned addresses on Ethereum that is maintained as a public good for the Ethereum ecosystem.

Currently, the only sanctioned addresses come from the OFAC SDN list, which is monitored hourly for updates by the sanctions-list-service repo. When an address is added or removed from this list, the changes will be reflected in this smart contract.

Interacting with the smart contract using ethers

Set the stage for interacting with the contract:

Modifying state in the smart contract:

Note: to make updates to the sanction list you will need to have the private key of the EOA defined in the UPDATER role. This is set a contract deployment time but can also be updated later by the EOA set as the ADMIN role.
