Hey, I've glanced through the code — this is a great implementation. I'm currently going through a refactor of how Messages work internally to make multi-modal a bit cleaner. This would fare better if it sat on top of that implementation, so I'll try my best to get that PR wrapped up (holiday season, so availability is limited). I'll ping you when I get that PR out!
