I keep getting AttributeError: 'NoneType' object has no attribute 'bConfigurationValue'

Could it be related to not having access to

Thanks for reporting the issue. Apparently pyusb didn't get properly the usb attributes.
Can you please perform 'lsusb -vv' and tell me on which system (distribution/kernel) you are running?
