TypeScript is already using the as keyword for type assertions. https://basarat.gitbooks.io/typescript/docs/types/type-assertion.html

TypeScript as operator would only occur after expression, while DestructuringAssignmentTarget is not an expression.

There's no conflict with TypeScript, but may not be intuitive enough when used together.

Also duplicate of #6.
