Hypothesis

We believe that the connection timeout is larger then the Long polling timeout.

We had the issue before that we close the connection before and never received a job on that connection.

One idea of an experiment would be to start 10 PI start the workers, delete the gateway and verify via #119 that all instances are eventually (it might take some time) completed.
