Would like to schedule this for Dec 15 (Thursday). That way if any issues pop up that need a quick fix, there should be some time Friday (or maybe early next week?). Guessing folks will start taking off for the holidays very soon after. Thoughts?

Have tagged the release! 🚀 Artifacts should start being produced shortly 📦

Wheels are already on PyPI. Conda packages should be on conda-forge shortly.
