Like zadam said in #1021:

while this is a valid feature request, it's quite a bit more complex than one could guess from outside. So don't get your hopes up, it's probably not coming in near or medium term future.

As of now, you can split the large note into smaller parts and reference the needed one, or you can use "Cut and paste selection to subnote" and include it in the parent note to keep your text more consistent.

After that you can reference it with a link as well.

^This is the best solution that we have right now. It actually works quite well when we get in the mindset of breaking our notes down into the smallest chunks that logically fit together.

If we support this it would be easier to implement it in trilium:

ckeditor/ckeditor5#17264

If we support this maybe we can add this feature to triliumNext

This feature, combined with the ability to "zoom" into the blocks (like in outliner editors), could make collapsible bullets/sections TriliumNext/Notes#121 redundant (but only the ck folks know if they want to go into that direction)

They are asking for feedback. So i we don´t tell them that some people need it i think they will not implement it. I´m the only response until today. But i think if we want block references one day, then this is the chance.

There is allrdy a widget for collapsing bulletpoints. I don´t know if it can be modified for sections. But I would say big feature at a time would be allrdy a good improvmenet.
