Seeking Advice on Implementing Real-Time Event Execution

Hi Y'all,

I'm venturing into executing real-time events and could use some guidance from those of you with experience in this area.

Issue with SAS Response: Currently, when I try to enable real-time processing, I'm not receiving a SAS response. Is a SAS response typically expected for this command? Any insights on why it might be missing would be helpful. Side note I have successfully received responses for meters.

Best Practices for Event Polling: Once real-time event processing is enabled, would it be advisable to continuously call the events poll in a loop? If so, are there any specific techniques or tools you would recommend to efficiently handle the polling process?

All good thanks for responding. So here is how i'm trying to execute. Do I need to create a separate real-time event poll method in the igtsas class or just convert standard with the new mapped out codes?

right now when I execute this code I get the power on response. But every-time i run it after that I get an b'\x00' response.
