[Feature] Unlink preserve any changed data

If you need to press the unlink button currently any changes made to the object and not saved will be lost.

Describe the solution you'd like
When unlink is pressed the changes to the object are ported to the new object and saved. Or the form is not updated and the old values are preserved.
