super-C copy content does not have newline #2

After new update

urxvt: "version": unknown or malformed option.
rxvt-unicode (urxvt) v9.31 - released: 2023-01-02

no longer super-shift-c has newline and anything has copied to clipboard is pasted in one single line

more testing showed the issue is with super-shift-v
before the update, pressing "y" would paste with any newlines of the clipboard content, after the update pressing "y" pastes everything in one line.
I noticed that pressing "p" does not have this issue
