So i have an idea but as I am no software expert, I have no idea if someone with your skill can implement this.

So basically I have a nvidia shield which doesn't support 4k hdr on YouTube because the hardware doesn't support the vp9 profile 2.

As shield supports hdr10 playback, is there any way to add a setting into Smarttube to convert hdr vp9 videos into hdr10 so it is compatible with nvidia shields?

I know there are file conversion tools out there so thought maybe this could be possible?
