Using CTRL+Backspace in the search bar results in a unicode, when it should result in deleting the word. Is there any way to fix this? It's quite frustrating... otherwise, the new version is much better.

Also, have you considered adding in the ability to change the font size and table padding? The current font size is fairly small, especially for people who have a hard time reading small text.

Also also, I don't think the row color does anything? It stays the same color for me.

I'm working on implementing word deletion from the current cursor position now.

Two questions about Ctrl+Backspace preferences:

  1. Do you prefer to delete the entire word containing the current cursor (that is, if the cursor is between the o and the b of fobar, delete the entire word), or *only the part of the word before the cursor (that is, if the cursor is between the o and b of fobar, Ctrl+Backspace will leave bar)?
  2. When you say "delete the entire word", do you mean you want to delete until the last whitespace before the cursor, or delete until the first character that is whitespace or punctuation?

If you don't answer soonish, I'll default to (a) deleting only characters before the cursor and (b) deleting until the last whitespace before the cursor.

If you have Windows 10, just open default Notepad, type a sentence or a few words, and do CTRL+Backspace.

It's nothing to do with the cursor, it's just a full word is deleted whitespace to whitespace.

Examples:

Input:
"The best plugin ever [hit ctrl+bs]"

Result:
"The best plugin"

(entire word "ever" is deleted)

Input:
"The best plugin [hit ctrl+bs] ever"

Result:
"The best ever"

(entire word "plugin" is deleted)

It's the same way default Notepad in Windows 10, or Notepad++ on any OS operates.

TODO re: this issue:

  1. FEAT: Ctrl+Backspace to delete word
  2. FEAT: Customizable font
  3. BUG: Row color should change when setting changes
