The mapcss refers to traffic_signs_AME instead of traffic_signs_PAC for the directory where the images are.

Sorry for the error. Style updated. Uninstall it, remove files from your computer and then reinstall the style to assure is updated.

Already updated it for myself before.
I just had another look at the file and noticed that the same problem also exist for ID (Indonesia I assume?)

While using the style yesterday, I noticed a few more issues (I can report them in separate issues here if you want):

  • when defining 2 different signs on pole (e.g. using traffic_sign:forward= and traffic_sign:2:forward=) it's only displaying the 2nd one
  • 20 pixels is really a bit too small for most as they become pretty much unrecognizable
  • the different "zone" signs ( https://www.qld.gov.au/transport/safety/signs/regulatory#parking ) (and probably others) that have an arrow on them really occur in 3 different versions "in the wild", arrow left, arrow right, arrow in both directions. If you look for e.g. R5-20 (bus zone) in the mapcss you can see that there is only a R5-20L version. (And yes, I know the website above only contains an image for the L version and not the other 2.) But the difference if the arrow points to the left or right is obviously important.
  • not just an issue with the style, but already in the basic proposal, "side" should allow a value like "middle" or "front" for signs at T-intersections that are placed such that they are right in front of you across the through road when you drive down the road that terminates at the intersection. (Also for dead-end roads with a sign that terminates the road)
  • (more a basic issue with the proposal than the style) the tag "side" is not really enough to describe some signs. If I tag something like traffic_sign:forward=... side=left then the assumption is that the sign is facing towards the direction from which the traffic comes. But e.g. the parking zone signs I mentioned above are places such that they are facing towards the road instead of along the road. I think this difference should somehow be reflected in the tags.
  • (issue with the presets, not the style) the presets for australia all have "right" as default for the side tag. That's really annoying because the default in australia would be "left". (This also affects all other countries where you are driving on the left side.)

Now presets for AU, GB, ID, and JP are left default. Also there are two new rotate positions: 90 and 270. Thank you for your issues.
