Getting Started

For these wiki pages, we will assume you've created your YCB site, but have no programs, no keys and no screener questions set up. If you don't know what these are, don't worry! Following along will teach you about them.

Programs

Programs are the different types of benefit programs that applicants might qualify for. For more information, check out our page on programs.

Questions

In order for YCB to identify who qualifies for what, we need to create questions. Certain factors such as income, disability status, and the applicant's child care situation can all inform what programs the applicant qualifies for. Check out the questions page for more info.

Keys

YCB uses fancy technology to filter all the different programs and the questions that qualify applicants for those programs. Keys are how we make this happen. Learn more on the keys page.

Queries

Each program is filtered based on queries. For example, an applicant may qualify for a program if he or she satisfies the "low income" query and the "has children" query. Learn more at the query page.
