First of all, amazing! I also love themeing (theming? themifying?) and I really like your concept and way of building it. |
So glad that you like it @yglik ! I am not 100% clear on how to convert this into a library, in lieu I started with creating different systems/themes from scratch using the themescura's theming code to test out and refine the API experience. (eg: xypnox.com/ Code) I would like to know a bit more about the current way wordpress themes it's websites. From what I can gather from its default themes, there are css variables, and so we can give themescura a try. It would be immensely helpful if you could guide me towards resources on how to extend wordpress for customizable UI. Also, you can email me @ xypnox gmail for a lengthier discussion. PS: sorry for the delayed reply. |
I hope I will have the time to clone the repo and fiddle with it a bit so I can put it up on my website. Wordpress theme mechanism is relying heavily on css custom properties so I guess that if you kind of map themescura properties to Wordpress properties it should work ok. Don’t worry about the delay, if you can even call it delay. |
