[Bug]: Connection to device succeeded but no datapoints could be found. Please try set-up again #438

Home Assistant Version

2024.12.5

Environment

  • Does the device work using the Home Assistant Tuya Cloud component?
  • Is this device connected to another local integration, including Home Assistant and any other tools?
  • The devices are within the same HA subnet, and they get discovered automatically when I add them

What happened?

I had previously added the device and it was working fine as a test , when i deleted it , and added it again , it was not able to find datapoints

Steps to reproduce.

  1. Click Configure
  2. Add New Device
  3. Select Local Device
  4. Add Device Name And Local Key (Sourced from Tuya Dev Platform)
  5. Product Version 3.4 ( Automatic)
  6. Click

Relevant log output

No response

Diagnostics information.

Same issue with me on two mini smart plugs, one new and one deleted to see if I can add it. Two other previously-configured mini smart plugs work fine. All 4 work fine with Tuya cloud and HA integration. All are version 3.3.
