Summary and purpose

ECMWF noticed that the formula of Formic acid, entry 10005 is incorrect and propose to correct it

Action proposed

The team is kindly asked to review and approve the contents for inclusion within the next update to the WMO Manual on Codes.

ECMWF noticed that the formulae of Formic acid, entry 10005 is incorrect and propose to correct it. The correct formula is HCOOH

Detailed proposal

Correct the formula of entry 10005 in Common COde Table C-14:

CH3OOH should be HCOOH

(Note that CH3OOH is the correct formula of entry 10002 )
