Modbus TCP vs Local O&M

Hello,

Initially when I first got my Huawei inverter I connected you integration using the Modbus/TCP feature of the smart lan dongle (setting it up in restricted mode so only my HASS server can communicate with it) (Am i correct that this method is not described on the connecting to the inverter page?)

Because I was asked by my installer to assist one of his other clients with his HASS connection i got curious about the local O&M, I am able to enable local O&M on the dashboard just fine but can't seem to add the connection to my HASS

is this perhaps because the inverter is already connected via dongle?
