Presently, the registration form is quite bare-bones and it isn't clear what values are expected for the REGISTER_FORM.URL or REGISTER_FORM.DESCRIPTION fields. If you submit a value it doesn't like the backend will return a 400, but the frontend provides no feedback and spins infinitely.

Edit: I see that wireapp/roman mentions slightly different instructions for registering as a Wire Bot Developer. Is that method is equivalent to the one linked here?

Would it be possible to clarify this? Or is there a more up-to-date bot example to start from?

Hello Fred and rgmz
The page you are referencing here is from a project that is no longer in development. Please look into https://github.com/wireapp/lithium or https://github.com/wireapp/roman to register as Wire Bot Developer on our production server (zinfra.io is staging!)

Thanks, @Veki301.

https://github.com/wireapp/lithium links back to this repo which has instructions in the README to use zinfra.io. Perhaps the instructions could be updated for clarity?
