From a MBO email:

We're retiring SelectData on August 1, 2014. We've previously sent the new functions and instructions for using the FunctionData API service. You'll need to replace SelectData with FunctionData in all of your integrations to avoid disruption of service for your clients.

After August 1, you will no longer be able to make requests toward SelectData endpoints.

The DataService was removed awhile ago. I'll look into adding a FunctionData API endpoint.

I am closing this issue as #22 offers a better explanation for tracking purposes.
