This MR-Box plugin enhancement proposal (MRPEP1) tracks the development of a user interface for a PMT/ADC user interface.

Plot window

While measuring, display measured PMT current interactively, something like the following:

Questions

  • Should the plot "widget" be included in the main window? a separate window?
  • Should the plot "widget" always be visible?
  • Should the user be able to explicitly trigger reads at any time, regardless of the running state of the protocol? or maybe only when protocol is not running, but MicroDrop is in real-time mode?
  • How should data be saved? Add ability to explicitly save data to file?
