Agree, while watching video program should be silent, it's not important to know if you are finished download (buffering) or not, unless it's a torrent with slow/poor peers so you will need to wait before you can play it.

Just to be crystal clear, I'm talking about this checkbox:
check

It also boops when it starts playing something or when removing something. I find this sort of thing extremely aggravating.
