Bug: Need to press the stop button twice to stop a video

Issue description

When watching a video i can press the pause button on the remote and it will pause immediately.

Same with the play button (if i close the menu first with back).

If i press the stop button the video won't stop.

Instead it will bring up the menu (same as pressing OK or the arrow keys) and to stop the video i have to press the stop button a second time and i need to do it while the menu is visible.

I don't know why it is like this, but it is quite annoying.
