What is Outpost?

Originally developed in 2019, Outpost is a decoupled service directory built to manage service information. It is part of a wider "Outpost Platform", the goal of which is to create a network of open source applications that are simple, quick and affordable to create to meet the needs of staff, residents and communities. Outpost only does one thing, manage service information. By design it is not a content management system or a reporting tool. This means the data can be used where its needed however its needed.
