Nitpicking: the menubar item looks a bit out of place when seen next to the macOS built-in display settings menu bar icon. The display icon is not the same size. Maybe it's better to make it look the same but with the slider knobs on the little screen? Or, maybe even better, why not use put a nice "BD" abbreviation on that tiny screen (in the HDMI font that you use elsewhere)? That would make it even easier to recognise (and distinguish from the system icon), I think.

Well, I intentionally did not want to use the SF Symbol icon (but I would not put those two icons next to each other). You can enable the Match menu icon with main display icon in which case the app will use only SF Symbols in the menu bar (but in this case the external display icon will be the same as the display control panel icon which might also be a bit annoying). Maybe I'll add a feature to use any sf symbol icon as an override for those who are super conscious about their menu bar. :)
