Hi @VasiliyLysov - A Full HD (1920x1080) display will never look that good, even if you use HiDPI supersampling if you compare it to Windows. Windows uses a technology called subpixel rendering for displaying fonts - this will look better in low resolution displays. MacOS stopped using this tech several versions ago (as this technique generally does not work well with scaled images which macOS uses heavily). |

The only solution I have found to this is buy a better display, some have sed using an HDMI adaptor via USB-c on your mac improves it but as you said they don't really use the tech in the os so I have read in other places that don't work either. Buy a better display, only solution. |

Can we add an option to have true @2x in 1920 x 1080? Like 960 x 540. I know it sounds crazy but I prefer sharp pixel over large estate.. |

I am using mac mini m1 with huawei 23.8 (1920-1080) monitor via hdmi-hdmi. After launching dummy, the picture quality really gets better, but it still remains quite blurry. What can this be connected with and how to be in such a situation?
