Is this a unique feature?

  • I have checked "open" AND "closed" issues and this is not a duplicate

Proposed Solution

Search for the path in existing tabs and switch to an existing tab if found, otherwise open a new tab.

I would probably make this a togglable option. It may be an idea to hook the actual tab creation process, if not already done, to make it feel more snappy.

Do you want to work on this issue?

No

I'd love to have this, unfortunately I'm not deep enough in windows programming to work on this. but I'd be willing to sponsor a few coffees to get this.

Hi there,

Thank you for your patience, and sorry for the delay. v2.0.0 is now available! This update brings a host of new features and improvements, including the ability to switch to an open tab instead of opening a new one as well as duplicate active tab and restore closed tabs, among other enhancements.

Please give it a try, Your feedback is always welcome!
