What is the status of COWL?

I read up about COWL when it first came out, and it looked very interesting. It looks like it has stopped evolving though.

My use case would be to have JS from one Origin do JS Crypto on demand of another origin. Is there a way to do this now?

It's a bit in limbo land to be honest. We sent patches to @mikewest and others a while back for Chromium, but I don't think it led to anything. (Completely reasonable, everybody has a lot on their plate.) I am happy to try to fix up the patches or implement the spec in Firefox if the commitment to actually integrate is more serious. Use cases like this are actually a perfect fit so if I'm not the only one pushing there may be more likelyhood of browser folks spending time on this/be willing to integrate changes.
