Cannot view logs

Environment: MacOS 11.0.1. Firefox 83.0.

I cannot tell if this extension is doing anything, so I selected the "show logs" button on the preferences screen. A process named plugin-container proceeded to eat up all available CPU cycles. The log messages did not make an appearance.

Problem persists after quitting Firefox and starting it again.
