Better Sidebar

The current implementation of the Sidebar and Mobile Navigation are nice but not optimal. I like the approach apple has used on the developer side and on their main page.

Putting ether the right and middle elements from the topbar into a popover or a fullscreen list of items,
and the sidebar, still as a sidebar but not with 100% width but with the native one and a nice dark overlay beneath it.

Also does the "Sidebar and Navbar" example show the same content for topbar menu and the sidebar. That does not make a lot of sense does it?

I'm having this problem right now with Human Connection. check me through cion. how can make a useful contribution.
there is also no direct responsive header-menu as example.
the sidebar should be fixed and dynamic.
i just give it a try.
