When I run indicator-kdeconnect on my laptop, the first run window appears, but my phone cannot see my laptop. In the terminal, I see:

** Message: KDEConnectManager.vala:32: KDE Connect daemon found
** Message: KDEConnectManager.vala:177: GDBus.Error:org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.UnknownObject: No such object path '/modules/kdeconnect'
** Message: KDEConnectManager.vala:137: no paired device found, open KDE Connect in your phone to start pairing

What's /modules/kdeconnect and how to I install it properly?

I tried installing with apt-get, and installing from the .deb. Both ways result in the same error message. I was running Linux Mint 17.0 (cinnamon). I upgraded to Mint 17.3 (the version where the package priorities were fixed), and I still get the same error. I have a different laptop with Linux Mint 17.2 and that does work fine.
