Video m3u8 freeze (quality change?)

Hi, I have got a video that freezes when used with this plugin
But it seems to happen only since 5.4.0, the issue was not here in 5.3.3
I think it could be related to this change:

Steps to reproduce

Explain in detail the exact steps necessary to reproduce the issue.

1. just launch the codepen and the video will freeze at 0:10
2. if you switch to videojs-contrib-hls 5.3.3 the video will not freeze

Results

Expected

The video should play until the end without freezes
