Maybe this issue should be in the diet-ng project. I'm currently using vibe-d 0.7.30-alpha.5 and decided to add "diet-ng": "~>1.0.0-beta.1" to my dub dependencies to see what happens/breaks.

My app started fine and the page layout seems ok but where I had i18n strings from a *.po file I now just get the msgid.
