@pauldotknopf the shortcut for doing this on Hyper is ctrl+shift+x.

Is that specific to nano? Or, must all C+X commands (which work in normal cmd) also have shift?

@pauldotknopf Yes, i do believe so. For example copy is ctrl+shift+c

Is it a wontfix? Giving default behaviours to ctrl+any key is breaking quite a few applications (for example, the default Emacs configuration uses Ctrl+x as default modifier, required to both save and exit, bash uses Ctrl+a to jump to the beginning of the line, etc) .. :(

As a long-time Windows user, I would definitely prefer using ctrl+shift+c to copy instead of ctrl+c. Even if it doesn't match the native shortcut, at least it won't break my apps :)

[edit] Just seen #1191, never mind!
