Status of vegabrite?

@AliciaSchep , What is the status of this package? It looks interesting, but it also looks like it has been pretty inactive recently. Wondering if this is a package worth investigating, or if it was an experiment that is no longer being developed/supported.

I'd describe the status as "dormant". Hasn't been updated in a while, but still trying to keep a loose eye on issues and hope to be able to keep the package functional (e.g. a minimal level of maintenance) but can't really make any guarantees there given other demands on my time. I'd like to invest more time into it at some point, but I'm not sure when or if that'll happen.

Thanks. That is sort of what I had guessed. I've played around with it a bit more. I like the syntax better than that of altair, which suffers from it's close connection to the python package. But I'll continue to investigate both (as well as options in Python and Javascript).

If I run into anything, I'll post an issue or a PR.
