Is it possible to register a zoom callback on the tree?

I was wondering whether it is possible to register a zoom callback on the tree?
And also if it is possible to render the tree, starting at a specific zoom level?

Starting at a specific zoom level is a good idea and is possible. It would allow developers to highlight a specific part of the tree that way.
