Steps to reproduce

Just installed 1.9.4, choosing "Clear Cache" from settings leads to an endless spinner (I waited several minutes and tried several times). You need to kill & reopen the app to fix this.

Outcome

Prior to 1.9.4 Clear Cache finished in a few seconds

confirmed on 3 different devices, iPhone 11 Pro Max + 13 Pro Max + iPad Pro 2020

Operating system version

iOS 15.6.1 + 15.7

Application version

1.9.4 + 1.9.5

matrix.org
