Spell checker with option en-GB is still using en-US

Describe the bug
I use the en-GB language to spell-check in Latex, but it marks as wrong words like characterisation or minimise, suggesting instead their versions with "z" (US spelling).

Steps to reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Open settings.json
2. Add "ltex.language": "en-GB",
3. Write in a file something like: "This function minimises the uncertainties."
4. See the word minimise highlighted due to the use of an "s" (UK spelling)

Expected behavior
It should have changed to UK spelling

I find that spellings like 'analyze' and 'color' are flagged correctly in en-GB mode.

I also have a similar bug in which LTeX is applying rules of en-US when the language setting is en-GB. For me, the MORFOLOGIK_RULE_EN_US is being applied. If I disable this rule, it disables all spell checking.

I have the same issue as @dharux . After investigating a minimal example, I found that my problem lies in the package babel. Whatever language I select in the LTeX configuration, the diagnostic always warns with MORFOLOGIK_RULE_EN_US.

After deleting all the preamble on the top, the problem was fixed.

The specific line that causes the problem is \usepackage[english]{babel} in my case.
As I want en-GB for the doc, using \usepackage[british]{babel} or just deleting this line works.

If you use babel as well, configuring the babel optional properly may fix your problem. Babel option is prior to your LTeX configurations. Check the LTeX doc for more details https://ltex-plus.github.io/ltex-plus/faq.html#why-does-ltex-check-in-a-different-language-than-expected.
